Take care if buying from a private seller. If you prefer the security of buying from a well established specialist caravan dealer, we recommend Joal Leisure.

One of the biggest UK retailers for caravans is Joal Leisure Ltd who sell pre-owned touring caravans at lower prices than most of their competitors.

Before Joal Leisure obtains it's used touring caravans, checks are made with the Caravan Registration and Identification Scheme (CRIS) to ensure who the rightful owner is and that there is no record of it being scrapped, stolen or subject to finance.

After purchasing your used caravan, Joal Leisure's After Sales Service is superior to most other caravan dealers, indeed many dealers selling second hand caravans don't even have an after sales department!

Distance is no object, if required, your tourer can be delivered to any UK location or abroad at a very favourable cost.

Although Joal Leisure offer a range of pre-owned touring caravans on their website, this is just a small selection of what is available, as units are changing frequently due to the high turnover of stock. Ring Joal Leisure on 01376 501011

Buying Privately

If you are buying a caravan from a member of the public, always meet at the seller’s house. If they insist they meet you in another location, such as a car park or your house, be suspicious. Make sure that the house they claim to live in is actually theirs - sellers have been known to use the driveway of an empty house.

Check the caravan’s chassis number for signs of tampering. If it has been removed or altered, contact the police.

If the seller asks you to ring only at certain times, be wary. They may be using a public call box to cover their tracks – telephone 100 and ask the operator to check for you.
